Simplify is my word for 2015. I have been taking it seriously too, in all aspects of my life. I have purged over 75% of my clothing and other clutter, organized areas in my home that needed it, and I have even said the word “no” to acquiring more things, and to events and opportunities that don’t fit into my life right now. It feels so good to see some simplicity emerge this year and I have a lot more on my simplification to-do list.
Through downsizing my things and obligations, I can now see real, raw beauty in that which is simple. It’s a tranquil place to be and I want to share it with others. That’s why I love this gift wrap idea using only craft paper and twine. Add a sprig of flowers, dried or freshly picked, for an added touch of beauty!
This is a gift that I gave to a dear friend recently. It’s the perfect sentiment for this time of year when nature is in full bloom! She loved the simple gift wrap with it’s modest aesthetic and your loved one will too.
