Men are hard to buy for. This is common knowledge. That’s why when I come up with a great gift idea, I like to share it. This gift that I will be sharing with you today is one that I recently gave my husband for this birthday.
The first part of this gift is for the baseball lover. That would be my husband! I’ve never met anyone more enthralled with the sport. He loves it so much that we have started a National Ballpark Tour Bucket List so that we can try to see all of our nation’s great ballparks.
Given my husband’s passion for baseball, I just about died when I found this at Red Envelope:
Crafted from salvaged seats from America’s most beloved stadiums, they’re a couple links to baseball’s storied past including decades of home openers and double-headers. Each set is unique, limited in quantity, and officially licensed by the MLB. They have a sterling-silver base with swivel backing and each cuff link is hallmarked with the name of the stadium engraved on the back.
I chose Wrigley Field because that was our very first ballpark excursion (September 2010). My husband was speechless when he opened these cuff links. Yours will be too. He said it was the most creative gift he has ever received. Score!
For the icing on the cake…
There’s nothing sexier than a French cuff shirt adorned with unique cuff links. I dig it! Aaron has a couple of sets of cuff links currently that he keeps in a cheap, nearly-broken ring box. Now he has a dark brown leather display case for up to 12 pairs of cuff links. I’m looking forward to adding to his collection! The case is also a wonderful place for him to store his wedding ring. Maybe now he will keep it off my ring dish.
Oh, and a little monogramming never hurt anyone! Guys secretly like it too.
With gift giving occasions always on the horizon, you should give Red Envelope a good once-over. They’ve got some great gifts in all price ranges. Beware of the cheese though! They have some crazy cheesy gifts too.
