Holiday charcuterie board is a sponsored post. All opinions are my own.
When I think of Christmas, two things come to mind: family memories and holiday parties. Maybe that’s why Christmas is my favorite. I live for those special moments on Christmas morning and I really love a good party with great food, of course! If you’re like me and you always try to improve your hosting skills each year, you’re going to want to take note of my holiday charcuterie board. Don’t let the fancy name fool ya! Charcuterie boards are easy to make, you just need to know which products to buy.
Quality is key when buying meats and cheeses for a charcuterie board. My brand of choice is Dietz & Watson. I buy Dietz & Watson products at my local Albertsons here in DFW but they’re available at fine delis all over the country. I’m always amazed at selection. Dietz & Watson makes over 750 handcrafted premium products at their family owned and operated facility in Philadelphia and they’ve been in business for nearly 80 years! It’s obvious that quality is still at the center of everything they do.
When assembling a holiday charcuterie board, it’s important to choose a variety of flavors and textures. This is what makes a charcuterie board so unique! For my holiday charcuterie board I picked a few different meats, a spicy cheese (Jalapeno & Cayenne), a sweet cheese (Brie) , and a savory cheese (Gouda), all from Dietz & Watson. I also selected dried apricots, black olives, pear slices, gherkin pickles, and gourmet crackers for the combination.
Charcuterie boards and conversation go hand-in-hand, that’s why it’s the perfect food selection to set out for gatherings. Everyone will find something that they like and they’ll keep coming back for more! Dietz & Watson believes that food has the power to bring people together and I agree. Their high quality products are sure to become a family favorite around your house too!
Making time for the people you love doesn’t have to be complicated— it can be as simple sharing a meal, or a holiday charcuterie board.
