I’m not a ketchup person. I’m a ranch kind of girl.
I grew up in a small Texas town where sweet tea and ranch dressing were more commonplace than Diet Coke and ketchup and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Ranch is just so darn good. I simply can’t stop dipping everything I eat into it and I am not sorry. No apologies here, just a simple little blog post to entice you to whip up my homemade ranch dressing recipe for your hungry kinfolk.
Homemade Ranch Dressing
1/2 cup dried buttermilk
2 Tablespoons dried parsley flakes
1 Tablespoon onion powder
1 Tablespoon garlic powder
1 Tablespoon dried chopped onion
2 tsp dried chives
2 tsp dried dill weed
2 tsp salt
2 tsp pepper
1 cup Greek yogurt
1/2 cup milk
1. Combine all spices in a small bowl to create a ranch mix.
2. Mix 2 Tablespoons of ranch mix, mayonaise, milk, and yogurt until well combined.
3. Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
Enjoy the dressing for up to 10 days in the refrigerator. The ranch mix can be stored in an air tight container for up to 9 months.
